Well, when we heard rumbles of thunder as we awoke this morning, Bertie and I consulted and decided to ‘take a rain check’ on our ramble planned for today (a wise decision, as it has turned out – walking along slippery paths with rain drops dripping off tree branches down our necks is not fun).
So our walk will now take place this coming Sunday, 12 May – and the weather forecast is good.

We’re hoping that those ramblers who couldn’t make it today, owing to prior commitments or injury, will now be able to join us, so we can explore this beautiful countryside together.

As I posted last week . . . why don’t you join us for a ramble through the lush Turkish countryside, before the weather gets too hot?  The walk will be slightly more challenging than last time slightly longer.  We’ll stop for lunch at the monastery – stunning views guaranteed!
We’ll be setting off from Radon Thermal Baths, Davutlar, at 11.00.  Please private message me with your phone number to reserve your place.

There will be no set charge for this activity, of course, but all donations to ARK will be gratefully received.
